Troubleshooting

Whenever the appliance fails to work, check for a solution from the following list before calling for Assistance.

Possible causes / Solutions:
• The plug h as not been ins erted int o t he elec t ric al s oc k et pr operly, or t here is
no po wer in t he hous e.
• The dis h wa s her door has not been s hut properly.
• A delayed s t art has been program m ed (s ee St art -up and us e).
• The dis h wa s her c yc le has not yet f inis hed.
• The wat er out let hos e is bent (s ee I nst allat ion).
• The drain d uc t is bloc k ed.
• The f ilt er is c logged up wit h f ood re s idues.
• The dis hes are rat t ling agains t eac h ot her or against t he sp rayer arm s .
• An exc es s iv e am ount of f oam has be en produc ed: t he det erg ent has not
been m eas u red out c orrect ly or it is not s uit able f or us e in di s h was hers
(s ee St art -up and us e).
• The lev el o f t he ref ined s alt is lo w or t he dos age s ett ing is not s uit ed t o t he
hardnes s of t he wat er (s ee Rins e ai d and s alt ).
• The lid on t he s alt dis pens er is not c los e d properly.
• The rins e a id has been us ed up or t he dos age is t oo low.
• The c rock e ry is m ade f rom non-s t ick m at eria l.
• The rins e a id dos age is t oo high.
• A was h c yc le wit hout a drying prog ramm e has been s elec te d.
• The rins e a id has been us ed up or t he dos age is t oo low ( s ee Rins e ai d and
s alt ).
• The rins e a id dis pens er s et t ing is n ot high enough.
• The rac k s are ov erloaded (s ee Loading t he rac ks ).
• The c roc k ery has not been arranged well.
• The s prayer arm s c annot m ov e f reely .
• The wash cycle is too gentle (s ee W a sh cycles).
• An exc es s iv e am ount of f oam has be en produc ed: t he det erg ent has not
been m eas u red out c orrect ly o r it is not s uit able f or us e in dis h was hers

• The lid on t h e rins e aid c om part m ent has not been s hut c orre c t ly.
• The f ilt er is dirt y or block ed (see Car e and m aint enanc e).
• The ref ined s alt lev el is lo w (s ee Rin s e aid and s alt ).
• There is no wat er in t he m ains s uppl y.
• The wat er in let hos e is bent (s ee I ns t allat ion).
• Turn on t he t ap and t he applianc e wi ll s t art aft er a f e w m inut es .
• The appli anc e loc k has been ac t iv at ed bec aus e no act ion was t ak en when
t he beeps s o unded. Swit c h of f t he m ac hine us ing t he ON/OF F but t on, t urn
on t he t ap an d s wit c h t he m achine bac k on aft er 20 s ec onds by pres s ing
t he s am e but t on. Re-programm e t he m ac hine and res t art t he was h c yc le.
• Swit c h off t he applianc e by pres s ing t h e ON/OFF but t on and s wit c h it bac k
on af t er one m inut e. I f t he alarm c ont inues, s hut of f t he wat e r t ap t o
elim inat e t he risk of f looding, rem ov e t he plug f rom t he elect ric al s oc k et
and c ont ac t Ass is t anc e.
• Switch off th e app liance b y pressin g the O N/OFF button . S hut off the
water tap to e lim inate the risk of fl ooding an d rem ove the plug from the
electrical so cket. Make sure the wa ter i nlet filter has n ot b ecom e
blocked by vari ous im puritie s. (see "Care and m aintena n c e" chapter).
