Problem
Charging indicator light does not
illuminate and battery not charging
Battery has low capacity
Screwdriver does not start
Forward/Reverse Switch is pressed
Possible cause
Charger not powered
Defective battery or charger
Battery not being fully charged
Battery charged days before use
Battery pack has been charged over 100
times and capacity has started to reduce
Battery completely discharged
Defective battery
Tool defective

Solution
Recheck mains connection
Return the tool to an authorised
GMC service centre for repair
Charge the battery for 5-7 hours
Charge the previous day or same day as use
This is normal for battery packs.
Contact your GMC dealer to purchase
a replacement battery pack
