OPERATION

Keypad
The electronic test device is operated with four buttons.
On button
•
The electronic test device is switched on. If you do not press any button for about 30 sec.,
the electronic test device switches off automatically.
Pump button
•
Pump function to check for leaks is started or stopped.
• Test button
Automatic leak check is started. After the test has been completed, press the Test button
to stop the test so that a new test number is generated for the next test.
• Info button
Displays the current test pressure or the expired resting or measuring time.

FUNCTION DESCRIPTION

Test function
The Test button is used to start and stop the automatic leak check. After the pumping time,
the resting time and the measuring time have expired, the measured pressure difference is
displayed in mbar as the result of the leak check and the test log is printed in duplicate.
After the test has been completed, press the Test button to generate a new test
number for the next test.
PUMP function
The Pump button is used to start and stop the generation of a continuous pressure of approx.
150 mbar, the LEDs
the pressure is not reached or when a leak prevents the pressure building up, the integrated
pump continues working until a pressure of 150 mbar is reached and then switches off. If the
pressure drops, the pump starts again automatically.
This function makes it easier to detect leaks in the tubing system. The current pressure is
shown in the LCD display.
INFO function
The Info button is used to select the current pressure or the remaining resting or measuring
time for display during the automatic leak check.
