If the inverter has no earth connection, the battery terminal which is connected to earth must be connected to the protective earth
conductor.
Connection version 1:
The 230V AC mains is connected to the AC2 input (higher
priority).
- I.e. the battery is spared and the inverter is simultaneously
protected against external voltage.
- Only if there is no current on AC2, AC1 input switches to power
supply by means of battery and inverter.
Connection version 2:
The inverter is connected to the AC2 input (higher priority).
- I.e. power is primarily supplied by the battery over the inverter
(e.g. when using solar stand-alone systems)
- Only when the inverter switches off due to deep discharge
protection, the device switches to 230V AC mains using the AC1
input.
