Intended use
The Mini in-line valve is predominantly used in fast-cycling
vacuum systems, e.g. for gas analysis and coating proc-
esses.

Note
When working with vacuum components take the appro-
priate measures to ensure cleanliness and damage pre-
vention.
Remove the protective caps and connect the DVI 005 M to
the vacuum system via the two M14×1 threads. Pipe con-
nections and flange fittings are available as accessories (see
catalog).
Hold the valve stationary
Electrical connection
The electrical connection is established via the two open
cable ends. Adhere to the local regulations with regard to
the installation. The polarity of the 24 VDC connection need
not be taken into consideration.
Operation
The product is ready for operation as soon as it has been
installed.
The Mini in-line valve is opened by a solenoid coil and closed

by a prestressed pressure spring. It closes in the event of a
power failure.
On continuous duty, the product generates up to 60° C.
