Closing the canopy

1 Move the lever to the "OPEN" position.
The parasol closes slowly.
2 Push the lever all the way down or press the parasol ribs against the pole
gently.
The parasol closes completely.
3 Pull the parasol fabric out from between the ribs to prevent the fabric from
being pinched or damaged.
4 Press the canopy against the pole until the latch on the bottom crown
engages in the lock.

The latch only engages if there is no fabric between the ribs.
5 Lock the parasol against being opened using a padlock on the latch.
