Fitting kit
- 2 plastic collars 3x190 mm
Fitting instructions
- Unscrew the 6 screws of the original rear hugger (1 Phillips screw and 5 BHc ones), then remove
the chain guard.
- Lift the rear hugger and the brake hose at the same time.
- Two solutions are proposed to remove the rear hugger :
- Place the Ermax rear hugger.
- Insert the 2 plastic collars in the 2 small holes of the Ermax rear hugger right side, without
tightening. They will be used for maintaining the brake hose.
- Screw the 4 BHc original screws, without tightening.
- Center the rear hugger. Tighten definitely the 4 screws. Tighten the 2 plastic collars.
* Painted and varnished parts are not guaranteed against high pressure steam washes or aggressive cleaning products which can damage them and unstuck the varnish. We advise moreover, according to the technical data of our
painting suppliers, to wait one month to obtain a complete polymerization of varnish.
* Accessories gone up on the motorbike will not be any more considered as new and will be neither retaken nor exchanged.
* Ermax accessories are foreseen for original equipments. They will not be guaranteed if they are used in others conditions.
* Due to vehicles made tolerances, beyond our control, some Ermax products might need adjustings to fit.
* The mentioned label of motorbikes's manufacturers are indicated exclusively as a reference to Ermax accessories.
* A few tyres, faithful to ETRTO standards, may be in fact bigger and higher than dimensions engraved on the tyre (until + 10 mm). They may be not compatible with undertrays and rear huggers which we made with original
tyres and whose dimensions correspond to these ones engraved on tyre.
* Harden the rear shock absorber while drivings with load or on dented roads.
1. Cut the rear hugger at two places to free the brake hose (see below picture of the
cutting locations).
2. Or for professionals only : separate the brake hose from its bracket, remove the
rear hugger, then replace the brake hose and bleed the brakes (the completion
time is unknown).
