Action
Have the pump dismantled and cleaned.
Clean the pipe.
Check that the pipe is airtight right up to the
pump and seal.

Excessive loss of head in suction or the suction
height is excessive (check the NPSH of the
installed pump).
Check the voltage of the motor terminals and the
correct diameter of the connections.
Check and fully tighten the nuts on the bolts of
the studs.
Have the pump disassembled and cleaned.
Check that the pump can rotate freely without any
abnormal resistance.
Check the pump connections.
Check the voltage at the motor terminals. The
voltage should be +/- 10% of the rated voltage
(+/- 6% is 60 Hz).
Have the pump dismantled and cleaned.
The motor is designed to function at a maximum
ambient temperature of +40 °C.
Follow the instruction on the motor plate and
Fig. 4.
Have the pump dismantled and cleaned.
Replace it.
Open the bleed valve of the pump and bleed until
all air bubbles disappear.
Invert the rotation direction by exchanging two-
phase wires on the motor terminal board or the
motor protection breaker.
Check it and tighten if necessary.
Check the voltage of the motor terminals and the
correct diamter of the connections.
Check the intensity with an ammeter or record
the intensity value indicated on the motor plate.
Check that the diameter of the electrical
conductors of the cable are the correct size.
Check the electrical cable or fuse and replace
if necessary.
Replace it.
Check the installation conditions and the
recommendations contained in this manual.
The suction piping should have the same
diameter as the pump suction inlet.
Clean the suction piping.
