Operating the device safely

WARNING!
Health hazard
• Suffocation hazard.
While burning liquid gas, the device also con-
sumes oxygen. When used indoors, there is a
risk of suffocation due to insufficient oxygen.
Only use the device outdoors. Under no cir-
cumstances use it indoors. Never use the device
in a garage, porch or tent.
• If there is a leak on your device (smell of gas):
– Immediately attempt to switch the cartridge
lock lever to the "unlock" position (fig. 2 9,
page 3).
– Remove the device to a well-ventilated loca-
tion away from any ignition source.
– Check for leaks using soapy water.
– Do not try to detect leaks using a flame.
– If the odor continues, keep away from the
device and immediately call your gas supplier
or your fire department.
• Do not use this device if it is leaking, damaged or
does not operate properly.
• Check that the seal between the device and the
gas cartridge is in place and in good condition
before inserting the gas cartridge.
• Do not use the device if the seal is damaged or
worn.
• This device can be used by children aged from
8 years and above and persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of
experience and knowledge if they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use
of the device in a safe way and understand the
hazards involved.
• Children must be supervised to ensure that they
do not play with the device.
• Cleaning shall not be conducted by children
without supervision.
• Only operate the device when you or another
person can attend to it.
• Wear appropriate clothing when using the
device.
Do not wear loose-fitting clothing which could
easily catch fire.
• Do not move the device during operation.
• Leave the device to cool down properly before
you touch it with bare hands.

• The device is very hot when you use it. Leave the
device to cool down before cleaning, packing,
transporting or stowing in a tent or awning tent.
• This device must only be serviced by an author-
ized person.
• Never change the nozzle, injector or burner.
• Use the device for cooking only. Never use it for
other purposes.
• Do not use the device as a space heater.
• Do not use the device near combustible materi-
als.
• Keep the area around the device free from fat,
alcoholic substances, plastic and flammable
materials (e.g. curtains, cloths or kitchen materi-
als).

• Accessible parts may be very hot. Keep young
children away from the device.

Intended use

The gas cartridge oven is intended for mobile use
outdoors only.
The device is intended for heating up or cooking
food.
This product is only suitable for the intended pur-
pose and application in accordance with these
instructions.
This manual provides information that is necessary
for proper installation and/or operation of the
product. Poor installation and/or improper operat-
ing or maintenance will result in unsatisfactory per-
formance and a possible failure.
The manufacturer accepts no liability for any injury
or damage to the product resulting from:
• Incorrect assembly or connection, including
excess voltage
• Incorrect maintenance or use of spare parts
other than original spare parts provided by the
manufacturer
• Alterations to the product without express per-
mission from the manufacturer
