INTRODUCTION
The dual power supply module ATL DPS1 automatically selects the most appropriate source between two
single-phase AC power supply lines. The selection criterion is based on the presence of voltage within
the minimum and maximum preset limits. Its typical application is to provide auxiliary power to the
switches and the control devices inside an emergency switching panel. It can therefore be used in
conjunction with automatic transfer switch controllers from ATL series. Switching between the two lines
occurs with defined and repeatable thresholds and times, thus increasing reliability. The two lines are
separated with electrical safety interlocks. A self-diagnosis is also performed under the supervision of a
microcontroller. If both supply lines are absent and/or in the event of operation fault self-diagnosis, an
additional alarm relay reports the alarm status to external devices.

OPERATION
ATL DPS1 monitors the two input lines and the reference voltage is selected through the terminals Y1 Y2
of the device. If there is no connection between Y1 Y2, the control thresholds referring to 230 VAC are
selected; if there is a jumper between the two terminals, the reference voltage selected is 110 VAC. The
following table shows the control thresholds applied to the two power supply voltages:

INTRODUCTION
Le module prévu pour une double alimentation ATL DPS1 permet de sélectionner automatiquement la source la
plus indiquée entre deux lignes d'alimentation monophasée sous tension alternative. Le critère de sélection se
base sur la présence de la tension entre deux limites minimales et maximales préétablies. Son application
typique consiste à fournir une alimentation auxiliaire aux interrupteurs et aux dispositifs de contrôle à l'intérieur
d'un tableau de commutation d'urgence. Il est donc possible de l'utiliser en conjonction avec les commutateurs
de réseau automatiques de la série ATL. La commutation entre les deux lignes est effectuée selon des seuils et
délais définis et qui se répètent, garantissant ainsi un niveau de sécurité plus élevé. Les deux lignes sont
séparées par des verrouillages électriques de sécurité. Un autodiagnostic est également effectué sous la
supervision d'un micro-contrôleur. En cas d'absence des deux lignes d'alimentation et/ou d'un autodiagnostic
d'anomalie de fonctionnement, un relais d'alarme supplémentaire signale l'état d'alarme aux dispositifs externes.

– Autodiagnostic en cas de panne interne (contacts des relais collés / ne fonctionnant pas).
– Relais d'alarme avec contact en sortie (bornes 11-14, ouvert en cas d'alarme, fermé en cas de
conditions normales).

FONCTIONNEMENT
L'ATL DPS1 effectue un contrôle des deux lignes d'entrée et la sélection de la tension de référence est
effectuée par les bornes Y1 Y2 du dispositif. En cas d'absence de connexion entre Y1 Y2, les seuils de
contrôle se référant aux 230 VCA sont sélectionnés. En présence du cavalier entre les deux bornes, la
tension de référence sélectionnée est 110 VCA. Les seuils de contrôle appliqués pour les deux tensions
d'alimentation sont indiqués dans le tableau suivant :
