Intended Use:
The individuelly shaped back plate and the corset's
reinforced anterior part stabilize the back and may
thereby contribute to pain relief. The product is
intended for single person use only.
Indications
Fractures, Post-op Spinal stabilization, Post-Op
Disc Surgery, Degenerative Disc Diseases, Herniated
Disc, Bulging Disc, Spondylolisthesis, Spondylolysis,
Facet Syndrome, Spinal Stensosis.
Kontraindikationer
Unstable spine conditions.

This product should only be altered by a medical
professional.

FITTING INSTRUCTIONS

Heat back panel with a heat gun or
in an oven at 80 C. Mould rigid back
o
panel over a snug fitting t-shirt, body
stocking or stockinette.
Apply orthosis, with rigid back
panel to patient making sure it
is moulded appropiately and is
comfortable to the patient.

How to use the support
Check that you have the correct size. Some conditions
can result in swelling that can mean a variation in the
size. If this is the first time using a support it is important
to start slowly. The support should initially be used for
a short period of time on the first day, then increase the
use gradually. Do not use the support overnight / while
sleeping. There is no standard length of time that the
brace should be worn. The length of time varies among
patients. Always follow your clinician's specific recom-
mendations.
Warnings
Do not use directly on open wounds. Use only on dry
skin. Do not use lotions on your skin. Make sure the
straps are not too tight. If any sign of skin irritation oc-

it with a binder. Continue moulding to
get the correct shape and contour. If
needed the 3D-LITE can be remolded
several times.
The rigid plastic panels on the front
are removable and can be adjusted
as needed.
XTRA
™
Navy Xtra consist of three parts:
• The shapeable back section in 3D-LITE™
material.
• Cover for back section.
• Elastic support with stabilizing straps and
reinforcement panels in front section.
Once back panel has cooled and is
rigid (approx. 5 - 10 minutes) slide into
pocket and attach to orthosis.
