Die Drehzahl steigert sich binnen kurzer Zeit auf ein
Maximum. Die Laufzeit des Stirlingmotors beträgt ca. 2
- 3 Stunden mit einer Kerze.
•
Sollte der Betrieb des Stirlingmotors vor dem Abbrennen
der Kerze beendet werden, ist die Kerze auszublasen und
erst aus der Aussparung zu entfernen, wenn das restliche
Wachs nicht mehr flüssig ist. Bei nochmaliger
Verwendung dieser Kerze ist jedoch damit zu rechnen,
dass aufgrund der
Drehzahl des Motors nicht mehr erreicht wird.
•
Der Stirlingmotor ist in der Halterung drehbar gelagert.
Somit ist es möglich, den Abstand zwischen Kerze und
Glaszylinder so einzustellen, dass sich auf dem Glas kein
Ruß niederschlägt. Hierzu nur die glatte Grifffläche
berühren (siehe Abbildung), da der Glaszylinder und der
runde Messingkörper heiß werden.
•
Eventuelle Rußablagerungen an dem Glaszylinder mit
einem weichen Lappen vorsichtig entfernen. Diese
Ablagerungen können bei einem weiteren Betrieb des
Stirlingmotors
die
Funktionsbedingt wird der Glaszylinder im unteren
Bereich matt, dies hat jedoch keinen Einfluss auf die
Leistung und stellt keinen Mangel dar.

Umweltschutz wird auch bei uns groß geschrieben.
Somit haben Sie die Möglichkeit nach einem langen
Stirlingmotorleben diesen und auch die Original-
Verpackung an uns zurückzugeben. (Versandkosten
werden nicht übernommen.) Alle zurückgesandten
Modelle / Verpackungen werden von uns einem
fachgerechten Recycling zugeführt.

Operating instructions
1.

Before you start operating the Stirlingmotor read
carefully the operating instructions and keep them safe
for later information.
•
Faulty operation or wrong manipulation can lead to
injuries to the user and damage the Stirlingmotor. In this
case the warranty will cease.
•
The Stirlingmotor should be used only in accordance
with the operating instructions.
•
Due to their functions some elements of the
Stirlingmotor become hot during operating.
Especially the glass elements and the brass
cooling unit must not be touched until
cooling. Children don't know this danger,
that's why the Stirlingmotor should be operated only
under supervision of adults.

Use only original accessories.

In no case operate the Stirlingmotor when it is damaged,
especially when the glass elements are broken, risk of
injury.
•
Repairs should only be executed by the producer, safety
specifications have to be observed in order to avoid
dangers.
•
2. Starting
•
Contrary to all other Wilesco products the Stirlingmotor
must not be oiled.
•
Unpack the Stirlingmotor and place it on a nonskid and
non-burnable surface. Place the candle on its place and
light it.
•
After some minutes you can start the flywheel (both
directions are possible). Within a short time the motor
will reach its maximum speed. The operating period of
the Stirlingmotor is abt. 2 - 3 hours with only 1 candle.
•
If the operating should be stopped before the candle is
burnt down, blow out the candle but dont't remove it
from its place until the wax is solidified. If you want to
use the same candle a second time, the Stirlingmotor
won't reach its maximum speed because of the smaller
flame.
•
It is possible to change the position of the Stirlingmotor
in its attachment. Thus the distance between the flame
and the glass cylinder can be adjusted so as not to have
soot deposits. Just use the contact area (see picture), the
glas cylinder and the round brass cooling unit will
become very hot.
•
Remove carefully soot deposits with a smooth cloth.
Otherwise these deposits will lead to a speed reduction of
the Stirlingmotor.
•
Due to its function the glass cylinder becomes matt in
and
the lower area. This has no influence on the power and is
no fault.
•
