Unpacking the system

Open the carton and remove the packing.
When removing the packing, support the front and back of this system
using 2 people.
Note
Do not hold the grille as it may detach from the stand resulting in serious injury.

Carry the system using 4 people, supporting the underside.
Note
Install this system so that the power cord can be unplugged from the wall socket
immediately in the event of trouble.
Note on the power extension cords
Connect only the system components to the power extension cords. Be sure not to
exceed the power rating of either extension cord.
Note to CATV system installer:
This reminder is provided to call the CATV system installer's attention to
Article 820-40 of the NEC that provides guidelines for proper grounding
and, in particular, specifies that the cable ground shall be connected to the
grounding system of the building, as close to the point of cable entry as
practical.

Installing the TV
Place the TV with the pedestal aligning the tape marks.
Pedestal
2 types of tape are attached to this system.
KDS-R50XBR1/KDS-R60XBR1
KDF-E42A10/KDF-E50A10
Remove the tape marks for KDF-E42A10/KDF-E50A10 when you set up KDS-
R50XBR1/KDS-R60XBR1.
Troubleshooting
No sound is heard from the system.
See page 25 of the supplied Operating Instructions.
 When using KDS-R50XBR1/KDS-R60XBR1, set [Speaker] to {Off} in the
Audio Settings menu of the TV. Refer to the TV's operating instructions for
details.
 If there is no sound, see the section on the connection and settings in the TV's
operating Instructions.

Déballage du système

Ouvrez le carton et retirez l'emballage.
Lorsque vous retirez l'emballage, tenez fermement la partie frontale et la
partie arrière du système à l'aide d'une autre personne.
Remarque
Ne tenez pas le meuble TV par la grille de ventilation car celle-ci pourrait se
détacher du panneau et vous risqueriez de vous blesser.

Transportez le système avec trois autres personnes en tenant fermement
la partie inférieure.
Remarque
Installez ce système de manière à ce que vous puissiez débranchez immédiatement
le cordon d'alimentation de la prise secteur en cas de problème.
Remarque concernant les rallonges des cordons
d'alimentation
Connectez uniquement les composants du système aux rallonges des cordons d'
alimentation. Assurez-vous de ne pas dépasser la puissance nominale de chaque
cordon.
Installation du téléviseur
Installez le téléviseur en alignant le socle sur les marques de bande.
Socle
Ce système comporte deux types de marques de bande.
KDS-R50XBR1/KDS-R60XBR1
KDF-E42A10/KDF-E50A10
Retirez les marques de bande des modèles KDF-E42A10/KDF-E50A10 si vous
installez les modèles KDS-R50XBR1/KDS-R60XBR1.
Dépannage
Aucun son n'est reproduit par le système.
Reportez-vous à la page 27 du mode d'emploi fourni.
 Si vous utilisez les modèles KDS-R50XBR1/KDS-R60XBR1, réglez
[Haut-parleur] sur {Non} dans le menu Audio Settings du téléviseur. Pour de
plus amples informations, reportez-vous aux instructions de fonctionnement
du téléviseur.
 S'il n'y a pas de son, reportez-vous à la section des raccordements et réglages
dans le mode d'emploi du téléviseur.
