Fitting kit
- 4 fitting brackets
- 2 5x25 BHc screws
- 4 Ø5 nylock nuts
- 4 "silent block" with steel spacers
- 1 aluminium look central part
- 1 Ø6x5mm rubber spacer
Assembly
- Place the fitting brackets on the motorbike as indicated on photos.
- Assemble the 3 parts of the belly pan thanks to the Ø5 screws kit (big head screws, washers and nylock nuts).
The central part is placed outside the belly pan, between 2 other parts.
- Place rubber inserts on the belly ban. Steel flange is to the outside of the belly pan.
- Place the belly pan on the motorbike with Ø5 screws kit on the front side, and the Ø6 screws kit on the rear side.
The 6x15 spacer and 6x35 screw go on right. The 6x5 spacer and 6x25 screw go on left.
- Make sure the belly pan is not in contact with the crankcase or the exhaust pipe and then block the whole
(crankcase screws should be tightened to a torque of 1,2 N/m).
- Aluminium netting should be placed at the airintakes, with silicone.
Once fitted, the belly pan must have no contact with motor and has to be far enough
from complet exhaust system. Fitting brackets' angles may be a little modified in
order to adjust the accessory to every motorbike (do not fold the fixing brackets while
* Painted and varnished parts are not guaranteed against high pressure steam washes or aggressive cleaning products which can damage them and unstuck the varnish. We advise moreover, according to the technical data of our
painting suppliers, to wait one month to obtain a complete polymerization of varnish.
* Accessories gone up on the motorbike will not be any more considered as new and will be neither retaken nor exchanged.
* Ermax accessories are foreseen for original equipments. They will not be guaranteed if they are used in others conditions.
* Due to vehicles made tolerances, beyond our control, some Ermax products might need adjustings to fit.
* Belly pans will be neither retaken nor exchanged in case of rubbing during a "sports" driving, or during the clearing of pavements, uneven road surfaces ... The fitting of Ermax accessories is planned for a normal road use.
* Move hoses so that they do not fall inside the belly pans. Any deterioration due to flows of corrosive products is not guaranteed.
* Aluminium screws are garanted until 6 Nm by our suppliers. Care to excessive clampings which may damage or break screws.
