Fitting kit
- 3 5×15 screws
- 3 5 plastic washers
- 4 6x15 screws
- 4 6 steel washers
- 2 33 collars
Assembly
- Remove one screw from the engine/frame (see photo).
- Attach the fixing bracket with the screw, but do not tighten completely so that it is still possible to
make adjustment.
- Repeat on the other side.
- Position the 33 collars on the frame.
- Assemble the two parts of the belly pan using the 5×15 screws, the 5 nuts and the plastic and steel
washers (the plastic washers should be placed against the paintwork).
- Position the belly pan and attach it at the four mounting points (without tightening up). The rubber
washers should be positioned on the paintwork side to protect it.
- Adjust the belly pan forwards and/or backwards so that it is clear of the exhaust pipes and make sure
that it is also well clear of the ground.
- Tighten the four belly pan screws.
- Tighten the fixing screws on the engine/frame.
Once fitted, the belly pan must have no contact with motor and has to be far enough from
complet exhaust system. Fitting brackets' angles may be a little modified in order to adjust the
accessory to every motorbike (do not fold the fixing brackets while fitted on belly pan).
* Painted and varnished parts are not guaranteed against high pressure steam washes or aggressive cleaning products which can damage them and unstuck the varnish. We advise moreover, according to the technical data of our
painting suppliers, to wait one month to obtain a complete polymerization of varnish.
* Accessories gone up on the motorbike will not be any more considered as new and will be neither retaken nor exchanged.
* Ermax accessories are foreseen for original equipments. They will not be guaranteed if they are used in others conditions.
* Due to vehicles made tolerances, beyond our control, some Ermax products might need adjustings to fit.
* Belly pans will be neither retaken nor exchanged in case of rubbing during a "sports" driving, or during the clearing of pavements, uneven road surfaces ... The fitting of Ermax accessories is planned for a normal road use.
* Move hoses so that they do not fall inside the belly pans. Any deterioration due to flows of corrosive products is not guaranteed.
* Aluminium screws are garanted until 6 Nm by our suppliers. Care to excessive clampings which may damage or break screws.
