4. Safety precautions

• First, check whether the mains voltage in your home corresponds to that of the
device (230 Volt).
• Only operate the device at an earthed socket.
• Always treat electronic devices with the greatest care and according to the following
guidelines.
• Children should not be allowed to operate domestic appliances.
• Always remove the food processor's plug from the socket when it is not in use,
before you insert any parts and before cleaning it.
• Avoid touching moving parts. Keep your hands, hair, clothes as well as spatulas or
other aids away from the mixer during operation to prevent injuries and/or damage
to the food processor.
• Do not let the food processor operate unsupervised or allow it to operate near the
edge of the worktop. When working at a high load or high speed, the machine could
move across the worktop.
• Never use the food processor if the cable is damaged or the device has been dropped
or damaged in any way. Bring the device to a specialist dealer or recognised
workshop for examination.
