• Use the compressor / condensing unit only with electrical components specified by the
manufacturer. The electrical box of the compressor should be located in a position where
a safe distance from any plastic, foam, wire or any other flammable material is ensured.
The electrical box should not be placed close to any water tray, close to insulation of
suction tubes or close to electrical connections or application wiring.
Read carefully the following instructions before assembly and putting into
operation this condensing unit.
Note: This condensing unit is pressurized with N H .
1. Verify that this condensing unit has been correctly chosen according to the application
(high or low evaporating temperature).
2. The electrical connections must comply with the standards and regulations valid in the
country where the machine will operate.
3. Verify on the compressor label that the indicated voltage/frequency are corresponding
to those of the external supply source.
4. Charge the system only with the refrigerant indicated on the compressor label: any
unauthorized use of a different refrigerant will immediately void the warranty.
5. No extra lubricant is needed. Any unauthorized lubricant or additive addition will void
the warranty.
6. Assemble only on systems with components having moisture contents, soluble and
insoluble residuals reduced by 50% compared to what indicated in Standard DIN8964*.
No contaminants are admitted.
7. Do not leave the unit open for more than 15 minutes.
8. Choose a molecular sieve suitable for the refrigerant type used in the system and with a
sufficient adsorption capacity (follow the dryer's manufacturer suggestions).
9. Refrigerant blends such as R404A, R507, R407C must not to be mixed with air during
leak detection (please refer to the technical literature printed by the refrigerant
manufacturer).
10. Safety pressure switches should be set as follows:
R134a 18 bar (relative)
R502 24 bar (relative)
R404A/R507/R407C 28 bar (relative)
R290 22 bar (relative)
*The total residuals must not be higher than 100 mg/m .
