Application
Failures of thermostatic radiator valves are
caused mainly by foreign materials which
are present in the pipework, such as
sealant, welding beads, swarf, sand, rust
etc. By using the insert replacement tool, a
valve insert can be checked for proper
function in a few minutes with the system
operating and without draining. If the insert
has been damaged by foreign matter, then
it can be replaced.
1. Function
1. Fit the insert replacement tool firmly to
the thermostatic valve body.
2. Close the drain valve

3. Loosen the valve insert with a 17mm
wrench.
4. Unscrew the valve insertn.
5. Pull the operating spindle out with the
valve insert until it reaches stops
6. Close shutoff gate valve.
