Intended Use
The product is an electronic flight controller only suitable for a sensor-less brushless motor (not
included in the flight controller scope of delivery). The flight controller is connected to a free channel
of the receiver of model planes and serves as a continuous RPM control of the brushless motor.
This product complies with the applicable national and European specifications. All company names
and product names are trademarks of the respective owners. All rights reserved.

Safety Notices
The guarantee/warranty will be void if damage is incurred resulting from non-
compliance with the operating instructions. We will not assume any responsibility
for consequential damage!
We do not assume liability for damage to property or personal injury caused by
improper use or the failure to observe the safety instructions! In such cases the
warranty/guarantee is voided.
• The unauthorized conversion and/or modification of the product is prohibited for safety and
approval reasons (CE). Never disassemble the product. There are no components inside the
housing that need to be adjusted or serviced by you. Furthermore, the guarantee/warranty would
also expire in such a case!
• The product is not a toy and must be kept out of the reach of children!
• The flight controller should not become damp or wet, which would destroy it.
• Disconnect the battery from the flight controller if the flight controller is not used.
• Always turn on the transmitter first and put the lever for motor control into the motor-out-position.
Then the flight controller may be connected to a battery pack.
• Before switching off the transmitter, disconnect the speed controller from the battery.
• The flight controller, the motor connected to it and the batteries will become very hot during
operation. Risk of burns!
• When operating flight models, make sure that no body parts or other objects are inside the danger
area of moving parts.
• Always use a battery pack to operate the speed controller, never use a wall power supply.
• Only connect a single brushless motor to the flight controller.
• The brushless speed controller is not suitable for the operation of conventional electric motors with
two connections! The flight controller is only suitable for operating a sensor-free brushless motor.
• When installing the speed controller, keep the biggest possible distance between receiver and
speed controller to avoid any interference. Do not install the flight controller cable parallel to the
receiver aerial line.
• When operating the model, sufficient cooling has to be provided for the flight controller as well as
the motor. Never cover the flight controller!
• Before recharging the battery, disconnect it from the speed controller.
• Do not leave packaging material unattended. It may become a dangerous toy for children.
• Handle the product with care. It can be damaged by impact, blows or when dropped even from
a low height.

Connecting and Installing the Flight Controller
The flight controller (1) is delivered with open connection cables (without plugs) because different
high-current plug connections are used for electric flight models.
• Solder a high-current plug suitable for the battery connection and protected against polarity
reversal to both power supply lines (2).
When choosing your plug, ensure that the contacts are suitable for the expected
currents.
Important!
Observe the correct polarity of the two power supply cables when connecting the plug.
red = positive (+), black = negative (-). If the connection is not correct, the flight controller
and the battery may be destroyed! There is serious danger of burning!
Damage due to the battery being connected with reversed polarity is not covered by the
guarantee/warranty!
• Connect the three motor connection cables (3) of the flight controller to those of the motor (4).
When using a suitable high-current plug (5) (not included in the flight controller scope of delivery),
you will be able to easily separate the brushless motor (6) from the flight controller for
maintenance.
If the motor is rotating in the wrong direction simply swap two of the three connections. The motor
now rotates in the opposite direction.
• Connect the three-pole plug of the flight controller (7) to the corresponding output of the receiver.
Make sure the assignment of the plug contacts on the receiver is correct (see operating
instructions of the receiver as well as the information on the receiver).

Red cable:
Brown/black cable:
• Install the flight controller in the model plane with double-sided adhesive tape or self-adhesive
velcro. The flight controller should be installed in the model as far away as possible from the
receiver. The flight controller should always be well ventilated.
• Install all cables so that they cannot become entangled in any rotating or moving parts of the flight
model. Use cable binders for fastening.
• Since the flight controller is equipped with integrated BEC electronics, no receiver battery or
rechargeable battery must be used! The receiver is powered directly by the drive battery through
the flight controller .
