Operation using the jack plug
When you use the jack plug as the audio source (MP3
player, mobile phone, etc.), the loudspeakers can be used
with either batteries or with the USB connection.
Operation using the USB connection
When you connect the loudspeakers to a computer or a
notebook with the USB connection, the speakers act as a
sound card and you do not need to use a jack plug as the
audio source.

Safety Instructions:

Observe all safety instructions in the PC operating
manual, etc.
• Only transport the loudspeakers in the original
packaging or in other suitable packaging that ensures
protection against impact and shocks.
• Condensation can form if the loudspeakers are
transported from a cold environment into the
operating area. Before operating the speakers, wait
until they have reached approximately the same
temperature of the operating area and are absolutely
dry.
• Ensure that the local voltage is 230 V, 50 Hz.
• Ensure that the indoor power outlet is easily accessible.
• The on/off switch does not disconnect the voltage from
the speakers. To completely disconnect the voltage
from the speakers, the mains plug must be
disconnected.
• Only connect the speakers in dry rooms.
• Route the cables so that they are not a tripping hazard
and so that they cannot be damaged. When connecting
the speakers, observe the relevant instructions in this
operating manual.
• Ensure that no objects (e.g. paper clips, etc.) or liquids
enter into the inside of the loudspeaker (risk of electric
shock, short circuit).
• In emergencies (e.g. if the housing, controls, or power
cable are damaged, or if liquids or foreign objects enter
the speakers) switch off the speakers immediately and
disconnect the mains plug.
• Repair work may only be performed by authorised
technicians.
• Switch off the speakers and disconnect the mains plug
before cleaning.
Clean the speaker housing surface using a dry cloth. If
large amounts of dirt have accumulated, use a damp,
well-wrung cloth that has been soaked in water with a
mild detergent.
