Operating the device safely

Caution – Danger of overheating!
Always make sure there is sufficient ventilation so that heat gen-
erated during normal operation can dissipate. Make sure that
the ventilation slots are not covered. Make sure that the device
is sufficiently far away from walls and other objects so that the
air can circulate (see fig. 2, page 3).
Do not operate the device near flames or other heat sources
(heating, direct sunlight, gas ovens etc.).
Never operate the device in vehicles when the engine is run-
ning.
The interior heater must be stored in such a way while driving
so that it does not pose a safety risk in the event of a collision or
the driver slamming on the brakes.
Never immerse the device in water.
Protect the device and the cable against heat and moisture.

Intended use

The cartronic interior heater is for heating the vehicle interior. The device can
also be used in other rooms, provided a 230 V AC power supply is available.
Attention! Danger of burns!
Do not use the interior heater for the purpose of warming persons,
animals or objects directly. The device is only suitable for heating
the surrounding air.
