After removing the machine from the packing, make sure that the machine is undamaged.
If there are any doubts whatsoever, do not use the machine, but contact an authorized Carimali Service Center.
The packing components (plastic bags, polystyrene, nails, etc.) must not be disposed of in the environment and must be kept out of the
reach of children as they can be a source of danger.
Before connecting the machine, make sure that the nameplate data correspond to the mains power supply.
If the machine plug and socket are not compatible (if provided), replace the plug with a suitable type, making sure that the size of the
cables is appropriate for the power absorbed by the machine.
The use of adapters, multiple plugs and extensions is not recommended.
Should these be indispensable, only use simple or multiple adapters and extensions which comply with the safety regulations in force.
It is important not to exceed the current-carrying capacity marked on the simple adapter and on the extensions, or the maximum power
marked on the multiple adapter.
This machine must only be used for the purpose it was designed for:
making coffee or chocolate, and supplying hot water.
Any other use is inexpedient and therefore potentially dangerous.
The manufacturer shall not be held responsible for any damage due to improper, incorrect and unreasonable usage.
The use of any piece of electrical equipment entails compliance with certain basic rules as follows:

do not use the machine with bare feet;
do not pull the power supply cable to disconnect the plug from the socket;
do not expose the machine to the elements (rain, sun, frost);
do not allow children or untrained people to use the machine.
Before carrying out any cleaning or maintenance work, disconnect the machine from the power supply by removing the plug or turning
off the mains switch.
In case of incorrect or faulty operation, turn off the machine. Do not attempt to carry any repair work yourself.
For any repairs, contact only an authorized Carimali technical service center, and request original spare parts.
Failure to comply with this instruction could jeopardize the safety of the machine and invalidate the guarantee.
If the machine is not going to be used for long periods of time, it must be made inoperative by disconnecting the cable from the power
supply.
All parts which may be potentially dangerous must be made safe, especially as children may be tempted to play with the machine.
Installation must be carried out in strict compliance with the manufacturer's instructions.
Incorrect installation can be dangerous for people, animals and objects, and the manufacturer cannot be held responsible.
Electrical safety of this machine is only ensured when it is correctly connected to an efficient earthing system, as stated in the electrical
safety standards in force.
This fundamental safety factor must be checked, and should there be any doubt whatsoever, the installation must be checked by a
qualified professional technician.
The manufacturer cannot be held responsible for any damage caused by the system not being properly earthed.
To prevent dangerous overheating, the power supply cable should be fully extended.
Do not leave the machine connected unnecessarily.
Turn the mains switch off when the machine is not in use.
Do not cover any heat vents or openings.
Keep the machine a suitable distance away from walls, objects, etc.
