1. INTRODUCTORY INFORMATION

The USER MANUAL is an integrant part of Horus chimney and a safety
direction.
All drawings and any other document are property of the manufacturer that
reserves all rights and points that they cannot be made available to third
parties without his written approval. It is therefore absolutely forbidden any
reproduction, even partial, of text and pictures.
Horus flue-less ethanol chimney is intended for decorative and domestic
use
Horus chimneys are produced in compliance with the following standards
on quality and safety concerning fireplaces using ethanol:
• draft standard UNI E0206C540
• directive 2001/95/CE of 3th December 2001 on the safety of liquid
fuelled appliances.
• DIN 4734-1

2. SAFETY DIRECTIONS

2.1 Do not place flammable materials within 1 metre around the fireplace.
Safety distance is 2 metres.
2.2 Make sure that the wall, table or floor that will house the appliance can
support its weight.

2.3 Install the appliance in a place protected from draughts.

be obstructed by objects.

2.6 Do not tamper with or intentionally damage the safety devices, remove

2.8 For the functioning of the chimney it is absolutely forbidden to use
