Put the inlet assembly into the tank vertically and fix the pipes to the inner wall of the tank with the suction cups (Fig
5). Make sure the strainer and most of the pipe is submerged in water.
Fix sembly horizontally to the inner wall of the tank with the suction cups, but different from the inlet assembly, the
spray bar should be above water (Fig 6).
Refer to Fig 7 to locate the canister filter at the right position. You can choose either simply place the filter next to the
tank, or use the hook to hang it onto the wall of the tank.
7.Start the filter
Plug in to start the filter.
Maintenance:
Clean the filter media
The filter media in the canister will get dirty after one or two weeks depending on the condition in the tank. Wash every
2 weeks at least. Use clean water to wash the filter media only. Do not use any detergent.
Clean the motor head
Clean water pump
Cut off the power, take off the motor head, remove the impeller cover and the impeller (as shown in the structure
drawing), clean with soft brush, rinse with clean water and install back. Make sure air vent is installed properly.
