Group 1 (forwards-facing)
(For children who weigh 9-18 kg)
•
Secure the Isofix base station with the Isofix

connectors and the support stand to the car
seat as is described in the "Installation of the
Isofix base station" section.
•
Now place the child car seat in the for-
wards-facing position on the base station.
Make sure that the child car seat has en-
gaged correctly on the base station. (Also
see the "Moving the child car seat" section)
•
The comfort insert is suitable for small chil-

dren under 13 kg and provides the child with
more support in the seat.
•
Remove the comfort insert if it is not being
used.
•
Unlock the belt buckle of the child car seat

and place the belt on the outer side of the
seat.
•
Put the child in the child car seat.
•
Adjust the height of the head support so
that the 5-point belt passes correctly over
the shoulders of the child.
•
Close the belt buckle again until a "click" can
be heard.
•
Pull on the front adjustment belt in order to
pull the belt tight. Please ensure that the
straps are not twisted.
•
Using the locking display, check whether
the child car seat is fixed in the Isofix base
station.
•
If desired, you can adjust the child car seat

into one of the 4 sitting and resting positions
in the "Setting the tilt angle" section.
