Turning the Power ON

After completing all connections, insert the power cable plug into the
1
power outlet.
2
When you turn the [Volume] knob,
you will hear a crackling sound, indi-
cating that the power is ON.
The green power indicator on the
front lights when the power is
turned ON.

Adjusting the Bass Range Volume

Turn the [Bass] knob to the position near "+" as
shown in the figure on the right. This setting is
recommended and will provide you with
appropriate bass tones.
The volume level, however, differs depending
on the sound source to be played. If you are not
satisfied with the setting, adjust the knob to
your liking.
*When you are connecting the ELPSP01 to a
general powered speaker, adjust the knob to match the speaker.
If the bass range is boosted excessively, or a special sound source
having an abnormally emphatic bass range is played, abnormal
sounds may be generated in addition to the signals that are
conventionally generated by the ELPSP01. This is not a
malfunction. However, lower the volume as prolonged use in this
state might damage the speaker unit.

Adjusting the Low Pass Filter

The default setting of the [Low Pass Filter]
knob is as shown in the figure on the right.
Keep the setting as it provides an appropriate
playback frequency and well-balanced tones.
*When you are connecting the ELPSP01 to a
general powered speaker, adjust the knob to
match the playback frequency of the
speaker.
