Languages on DVD Movies

You can select a preferred language for audio, subtitle and
disc menu respectively.
< When you select a preferred language that is not recorded
on the DVD, one of the actual recorded languages is
automatically selected.
< You can override the Audio and the Subtitle language
settings in the SETUP menu simply by pressing the AUDIO
and the SUBTITLE button respectively on the remote control
unit while a DVD disc is playing.
Selecting a Language from the Language Code List
1. Select "Others" and press the ENTER button.
2. Pick up the code from the list on page 91, and input the 4-
digit code by pressing the numeric buttons.
3. Press the ENTER button.

DVD-Audio Play Mode
This setting is accessible only when Setup Menu Mode is set
to Expert (see page 80).
The DVD video play mode can be set to play the DVD video
contents included on a DVD audio disc.
Press ENTER button to switch between Audio Navigation and
Video Navigation.
Audio Navigation:
Set this to play the DVD audio signals as such.
Video Navigation:
Set this to play the DVD video contents include on a DVD
audio disc.

Super Audio CD Play Mode
This setting is accessible only when Setup Menu Mode is set
to Expert (see page 80).
On a Super Audio CD, the stereo and multi-channel areas are
separate. Hybrid discs comprise 2-layer structure of Super
Audio CD layer and a CD layer.
The area/layer can be set to be played with priority.
Multi-Channel:
When playing a Super Audio CD disc, the multi-channel area
will be played back with priority.
Stereo:
When playing a Super Audio CD disc, the stereo area will be
played back with priority.
CD Layer:
When playing a Hybrid disc, the CD layer will be played back
with priority.
