Safety instructions

This appliance is only suitable for private household use and it is

not designed for commercial purpose.
Danger of electric shock! Do not attempt to repair the

appliance yourself. In case of malfunction, repairs are to be
conducted by qualified personnel only.
Warning! During cleaning or operation do not immerse the

electrical parts of the appliance in water or other liquids. Never
hold the appliance under running water.
This appliance shall not be used by children. Keep the appliance

and its cord out of reach of children.
This appliance can be used by persons with reduced physical,

sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and
knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and if they
understand the hazards involved.
Children shall not play with the appliance.

Danger of burns! Do not use the appliance during the cooking

process, with boiling liquids or hot fat.
Regularly check the power plug and power cord for damage.

If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in
order to avoid a danger or injury.
Danger of injury! Care shall be taken when handling the sharp

cutting blades, emptying the bowl and during cleaning.
Always disconnect the appliance from the supply if it is left

unattended and before assembling, disassembling or cleaning.
Switch off the appliance and disconnect from supply before

changing accessories or approaching parts that move in use.
Never use accessories which are not recommended by the

manufacturer. They could pose a safety risk to the user and
might damage the appliance. Only use original parts and
accessories.
Do not continuously operate the appliance for too long to avoid
13.
overheating the motor. The continuous operation time must not
exceed 10 seconds for blending (the appliance can be used up
to 30 seconds on low speed). Let the appliance cool down if the
appliance housing becomes too hot. Only operate the appliance
again, after it has cooled.
