3. Attach the brown 1.5 and brown/white 2.5 earth wires to a suitable earthing position in the tail
area.
The supplementary connector for the permanent power supply is also laid to the left taillamp.
If required, the permanent power extension set (permanent power, charging line and earth)
from Westfalia, order no. 300 025 300 113, can be retrofitted.
4. Pass wiring harness through hole in retaining plate and fit socket gasket.
5. Separate the wire to the rear fog light near the taillight or at a suitable position, and connect the
wire from the rear fog light switch with the blue lead and the wire to the rear fog light with the
gray lead of the wire lane using cutter connectors. For vehicles with two rear fog lights, the
second rear fog light's wire is also to be separated and a connection between the gray wire
and the second rear fog light is to be made.

6. Press contact insert out of socket housing and connect socket as follows:

7. Install socket.
8. Secure all wiring harnesses with cable ties provided.
Reinstall removed components and check that system works perfectly.
