THE SLACKLINE IS A DANGEROUS PIECE OF EQUIPMENT EVEN WHEN USED PROPERLY: PARENTS OF MINORS AND MINORS: Minors should not use the slackline unless they are under constant competent adult supervision. Make sure that the slackline is only installed in areas where minors cannot access the slackline without such adult supervision.

    1.3 ADDITIONAL SAFETY REGULATIONS: The Slackline system is only allowed to be tensioned by hand and by one person only. The chosen Anchors neither are allowed to have any sharp corners or be in a condition to potentially harm the slackline. Is only allowed to be installed with protective flooring underneath.
  • Page 4 3. ASSEMBLY: The GIBBON Slackline is designed for quick and easy assembly if you follow the directions in this manual. The slackline consists of the following components: A) 3m round sling - B) 2m round sling - C) 2 x long power ratchets with 4t short ratchet ends - D) 2 x steel shackles - E) 2”/5cm x 22m/72ft ANDY LEWIS TRICKLINE webbing including sweetspot...
  • Page 5 3.2 ANCHORING THE SLACKLINE: The GIBBON Slackline must only be fixed to trees that have a minimum circumference of 40 inches (1m) or 12 inches (30cm) diameter and a maximum circumference of 70 inches (2,5m). DO NOT ATTACH THE SLACK- LINE TO ANY TREE THAT CANNOT WITHSTAND A MINIMUM FORCE OF 5000 POUNDS (25 kN/2500kg).
  • Page 6 Wrap one of the Round slings around the tree as illustrated. NOTE: The ANDY LEWIS TRICKLINE Set contains a 2 m round sling and a 3 m round sling. Trees are never the same diameter and therefore the two lengths allow you to go around wider trees and objects.
  • Page 7 Open the safety lever to open the handle. Start coiling up the webbing exactly one revo- lution so that the drum is fully covered by the webbing. Keep the setup under tension while applying the handle for tensioning. Like this the slackline is anchored but the ratchet has room for final tensioning.
  • Page 8 Once the second ratchet drum is full switch to the first ratchet and if necessary give final tension keeping in mind that a maximum of 1,5 revolutions is possible. IMPORTANT!     Die Slackline darf niemals zwischen Fahrzeugen (z.B., Autos oder Lastwagen) gespannt werden, weil die Spannung die Sicherheitsgrenze von 385N/38.5kg leicht überschreiten kann. Die Slackline niemals höher als Schritthöhe und maximal 50 cm aufbauen. Slacklining ist ein schöner Sport, aber die Ausübung sollte nur erfolgen, wenn man sich der Gefahr, einschließlich ernster Verletzungen und/oder Tod bewusst ist und diese nicht unterschätzt wird! 3.

Beginnen Sie damit das Band aufzurollen (wie in Bild 7 dargestellt) bis genau eine volle Um- drehung der Rolle erreicht ist und die Trommel vollständig vom Band bedeckt ist. Les arbres n’étant jamais du même diamètre les deux longueurs devraient permettre d’entourer et utiliser une variété de points d’ancrage. Prenez l’une des manilles, défaire la vis, puis passez chaque extrémité...
  • Page 31 Tirez sur le levier de sécurité pour ouvrir com- plétement la poignée. Commencez à actionner le cliquet et en- roulez la sangle jusqu’à ce que celle-ci fasse exactement un tour sur elle-même sur l’axe d’enroulage du cliquet. Laissez l’installation sous-tension pendant l’utilisation du levier, comme ça la slackline restera ancrée au cliquet mais gardera assez de place pour la mise sous tension finale.

    Une fois le deuxième axe d’enroulage plein, passez au second cliquet et, si nécessaire, servez-vous en pour finaliser la mise sous ten- sion, en gardant à l’esprit qu’il n’est possible de rajouter que 1,5 tours à l’axe.
