Promptly remove drained batteries from the

display

An insulating strip protrudes from beneath the battery com-
partment lid
Open the battery compartment cover by pushing it down-
wards. Remove the insulation strip.
Close the battery compartment cover again.
Your digital timer is now ready for operation.
