4. Installation and connection

WARNING!
Risk of electric shock
● Installation and connection work may only be undertaken on the sauna
control when it is disconnected.
● NEVER open the sauna control housing.
ATTENTION!
Damage to the device
The sauna control is protected from spray water. However, direct contact with
water can damage the device.
● Install the sauna control in a dry place with maximum air humidity not excee-
ding 95 %.
ATTENTION!
Damage to the device
● The sauna control may only be used to control and regulate a heating circuit
with a heat output of max. 3.6 kW.
Take into consideration the following points in the installation and connection of
the sauna control:
● The sauna control must be installed outside of the sauna cabin at a height
of approx. 1.70 m or in accordance with the cabin manufacturer's recom-
mendations. The ambient temperature must not exceed 40 °C.
● The heater sensor cables must be installed separately from other network
cables and control cables. Cables with single insulation must be protected
by a pipe (double insulation).
● The heater sensor must be installed above the sauna heater in the sauna
cabin. A distance of approx. 15 cm must be maintained from the cabin ceiling.
● The heater sensor must be installed in such a way that it is not affected
by incoming air.
