Step 2:
Reposition the upper cover by coupling it to the top of the base. Press the bottom of the upper cover onto the
base and tighten the screw of the bottom.
Step 3:
Reactivate the tamper function on the control unit. If the siren is installed on MP500/xx, exit "Maintenance"
mode (see the instruction manual of the control unit for details).
<NOTE>
If 5 short beeps are heard when arming/disarming, it means that the Tamper switch was not completely pressed.
Make sure that the Tamper switch is set correctly and then repeat the control unit check.

Restoring default settings

The siren settings can be reset and cleared from memory by means of the following procedure:
Step 1:
Deactivate the tamper function on the control unit. If the siren is installed on MP500/xx, access "Maintenance"
mode (see the instruction manual of the control unit for details). The siren will generate an acoustic signal to
indicate that the Tamper switch is off.
Step 2:
Remove the siren from the list of device of the control unit (see the instruction manual of the control unit).
Step 3:
Remove the screw from the bottom of the upper cover and remove the upper cover.
Step 4:
Remove the LED cover by loosening the two screws which fix it.
Step 5:
Move the power switch to the OFF terminal and insert the batteries in the battery housing.
Step 6:
Hold the learn/test button pressed for 3 seconds and move the power switch to BT4. The LED groups will blink
in sequence and the siren will beep.
Step 7:
Release the learning/test button when the beep is heard. The old parameters of the siren will be deleted and
it will return to normal mode.
Step 8:
Reposition the LED cover and fix it with two screws.
Step 9:
Reposition the battery housing cover and fix it with four screws. Be careful not to tighten the screws
excessively.
Step 10:
Reposition the upper cover by coupling it to the top of the base. Press the bottom of the upper cover onto the
base and tighten the screw of the bottom.
Step 11:
The siren can be learnt again at this point with default settings.
<NOTE>
If the siren is installed on MP500/xx, it must be deleted from the device light (see the instruction manual of the control
unit for details).
<NOTE>
If you want to run the learning procedure of the detector again on a control unit after a factory reset, follow all the steps
listed in the "Learning procedure" paragraph again, starting from extracting the batteries from their housing.
