BEFORE THE FIRST USE
Before using the appliance for the first time, make sure the 4 feet are fitted correctly
underneath the appliance. Never use the appliance if the feet are not fitted correctly as this
would damage the appliance and the work surface underneath the appliance.
The appliance may emit some smoke and a characteristic smell when you switch it on for the
first time. This is normal and will stop soon.
USE
First check that the voltage marked on the product is the same as your supply voltage.
Select a suitable position close to an electric socket, on a dry and even surface.
Make sure the controls are in the OFF position (0). Plug in.
The invisible protective coating must be removed before you can use the appliance. To
do this, set the controls to the maximum setting (3) and leave switched on for
approximately 10 minutes. Smoke will develop, make sure that the room is ventilated.
Switch off the cooking plates and allow to cool down completely. The cooking plates are
now ready for use.
