6. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

6.1 Safety instructions

All maintenance, cleaning and repair of the appliance must be carried out with the appliance disconnected
(isolated from all electrical sources).
The use of caustic detergents and baking soda for cleaning is prohibited. Water must not enter the interior of
the appliance.
Never immerse the device in water or any other liquid.
Use Casselin brand products intended for this purpose.
WARNING
The device cannot be cleaned by direct water jet (no pressurized water jet).

6.2 Daily maintenance

Unplug the appliance and wait until it has completely cooled down.
Never immerse the device in water or any other liquid or subject to water jets.
Clean the device using a damp, non-abrasive sponge. Do not use abrasive materials, disinfectant, acid or
other aggressive agents.
The black part of the cheese holder can, in use, tarnish. It can be treated with sunflower oil or
olive.
6.3 Safety instructions for device maintenance
Daily check for damage to the power cord. Never use the appliance when the cord is damaged. If the cord
has any faults, it must be replaced by a qualified technician.
