6. NOISE EMISSION VALUES

7. IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR INITIAL OPERATION

Assemble the drill bit according to images A, B and C.

8. OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS

1) Put the ignition switch (11) to „ON". Press the on/off switch and throttle (12 and 13)
simultaneously and fixate them by pressing the lock button (14) (Image D)
2) Push the primperpump (15) a few times to pump fuel into the carburetor.
3) Put the air intake switch (4) all the way to „OFF"
4) Pull the ropestarter (16) slowly untill it locks, then pull sharply to ignite the engine.
NEVER pull the ropestarter all the way. After pulling, wait for the rope to roll up completly before
pulling again. Do not pull the rope in an angle (see F).
5) When the engine has started, pull back the air intake to the halfway position (halfway between on
and off) and let the engine run for a while untill it runs smoothly, then switch on the air intake.
6) To stop the engine, put the ignition switch to „OFF"
Always store the auger in an upright position to avoid fuel spills.
Always keep your auger clean.
Troubleshooting
Engine does not start
1) tank is empty
2) engine died due to flooding
3) dirty spark plug, distance between electrodes to high
4) dirty carburetor
5) spark plug socket or cables defective
6) no ignition spark - wait 5-10 minutes and try again
7) push primerpump 3-4 times
