MATERIALS
A 1 Cross Bar.
B 2 Sidearm.
C 2 M12 x 35 x 1.75 bolts, lock washers, Dia. 30 flat washers, Witter Cage Nuts and retainers.
D 2 M12 x 35 x 1.75 bolts, lock washers, 2-off Dia. 30 flat washers and Nuts.
E 2 M12 x 35 x 1.75 bolts, lock washers, and Nuts
EP 1 Electric plate.
ZN 1 Neck kit (3012 series)
FITTING
1. Remove bumper, screws inside wheel arches, screws along bottom edge of bumper, remove the light clusters (small
removable access panels inside boot edge) 2 screws under light clusters, carefully prise plastic clips and slide bumper
rearwards
2. Remove crash beam and hand to end user for re-fitment when bar is removed. Refit bolts to rear panel to prevent
ingress of water.
3. Pre-assemble Witter Cage Nuts (D) into the Side Arms (B), using separate fitting instructions, and taking care to assemble
to the correct face of each Side Arm.
4. Insert each Side Arm (C) into chassis rails and loosely secure to mounting points using fasteners (D & E).
5. Attach Cross Bar (A) to Side Arms (C) using fasteners (F).
6. Assemble the chosen Neck Kit (ZN) and Electrical Plate Kit (ZE) to Cross Bar (A) using separate fitting instructions.
7. Fully Tighten all Bolts to recommended settings.
8. Cut bumper as shown below and re-fit to vehicle.
Note: Cut is dependant on the neck option required and therefore the electrical plate used. Examples shown are for
detachable option with retractable electrical plate. Please Cut bumper accordingly.
Note: This towbar must be used with either a Witter Towball (part number Z11) or Class A50-1 or A50-X towball dimensionally
Conforming to A50-1 with a 'D' and 'S' value greater than or equal to that of the towbar.
Please refer to the vehicle specification for the trailer weight and nose limits, which must be observed.
Recommended torque settings:
Grade 8.8: M8 - 27Nm, M10 - 53 Nm, M12 - 95 Nm, M16 - 214 Nm
Grade 10.9: M12 – 139Nm, M10 – 78Nm
