Safety functions:

1. Electronic protection against short circuit, mechanic protection against reverse polarity.
2. Overheating protection (linear derating).
3. Built-in reverse polarity protection (safety).
4. Overvoltage shutdown.
5. Battery temperature control.

Safety instructions:

1. Use only accessories recommended by KaWe. Any other use may cause fire, electric shock
or injury.
2. The supplied mains power supply produces 9 VDC and 1200 mA direct current. Do not use
mains units with specifications other than above-mentioned, as this may damage the
charger or the power unit with the plug.
3. Do not alter the supplied plug. If the plug is not compatible with the existing outlet, it
must be replaced by a qualified technician. Improper connections can cause electric shock.
4. Do not use a damaged charger. Have it repaired by a specialist.
5. Do not disassemble the charger. Improper installation of the charger may cause fire or
electric shock.
6. While charging, the battery and charger may become warm.
7. Do not use the charger as a power source for electrical appliances.
8. Keep the charger and power supply unit with a plug dry.
