Intended use:

These rechargeable batteries serve as the energy source for the intended KaWe products.
The REF 12.80110.712 and 12.80110.722 rechargeable batteries may not be used for the
2.5 V LED laryngoscope.

Safety information:

Improper use or use of damaged batteries may result in the leakage of fumes. Ventilate
the area and seek medical attention for health complaints. These fumes can irritate the
airways.
Please heed the following instructions:
· Charge the batteries only with the unit intended for this purpose.
· Not allowed: sterilization, autoclave treatment, gas sterilization and Sterrad
· Do not expose to direct sunlight
· Keep away from children
· Store in a cool and dry place
· Never immerse the batteries in liquids.
· After successfully charging the batteries, unplug the charging unit from the wall socket.
· Do not cover the batteries or charging units (with carpet, pillows, bedding etc.)
Risk of fire! Risk of explosion!
Never use damaged, defective or deformed batteries. Do not open, damage or drop
the batteries. Do not charge the batteries near acids or easily-flammable materials.
Protect the batteries from heat and fire. Only use the batteries at an ambient
temperature of between 5°C and +40°C. Never lay the batteries on heaters or
expose them to direct sunlight for an extended period. After heavy use, first allow
them to cool. Short circuit – Do not bridge the battery electrodes with any kind of
metal. The batteries are to be wrapped up or packaged (in a plastic bag or box) for
disposal, transport or storage. Alternatively, the battery electrodes may also be
covered with tape.
