12. To protect the side liners from getting scratched or dented, it
is recommended to temporarily remove the side liner panel in
order to center punch and drill a 1/8" diameter pilot hole at the
screw location marked in step 11.
13. Once the 1/8" pilot hole has been drilled, install the side
liner panel, re-secure the top retainer bracket, then secure
the bottom front of the panel with the bottom retainer bracket
using a Black #10 x 1/2" "blunt" self tapping screw.
14. For DVP(1,2,3,4)SKR and DVP(36,42,48)KR Kits, a Reflective
Flue Baffle Cover is included that clips over the existing flue
baffle. See Exploded View, Item 3.
15. For DVP3642KR kits, attach the upper Reflective Flue Baffle
(with 2 screws) in place of the flue baffle removed in Step 4.
See Exploded View, Item 4.
NOTE: For Side Liner panels that include insulation: If after the
Side Liners are installed, insulation is visible at the front
edge, use a card or a small knife to tuck the insulation
back behind the front edge of the panel so it is not visible.
16. Once the Reflective Liner panels are installed, install the
Log Set and Glass Door assembly in accordance with the
Fireplace Installation Instructions.
