1) Insert or replace battery
Insert and replace batteries
Loosen the screw on the battery compartment. Take boiling
Remove the battery compartment cover and insert the batteries
according to their polarity (+/-) so the battery compartment
as shown on the battery compartment floor.
Put the lid back on and screw it on.
When the battery symbol appears in the top left of the display,
please change the batteries as described above.
2) Check the calibration
4 contacts are integrated on the protective cap. Two are with "B" and two with T ".
The correct function can be achieved with the help of these contacts to be checked.
• Turn on the meter : by pressing "ON / SET'' button.
• Remove the protective cap.
Attention:The protective cover of the measuring head is difficult to
remove.pls protect your hands from cuts!
• Touch the "T" contacts with the test tips
Bar display must be on the left scale 19% ± 1 Show.
• When touching contacts "B", it begins the entire bar display
flashes.
• Now can be used for measuring.
3) Turn ON / OFF
• Press 〃ON / SET "button to switch on the power.
• Turn on the LED lighting by pressing the LED light button for approx. 3 seconds.
• To switch off, press the LED light button again.
• The device switches off automatically approx. 30 seconds after the measurement or 30 seconds
after the LED light has been switched off.
If you do not switch off the light, the device remains on. Automatic shutdown is prevented.
• Remove the batteries from the device if they are not used for a long period.
4) Measuring
• Press "ON / SET" to switch on the device and remove the protective cap.
• Now print the measuring tips in or to the measuring material.
•Caution! Please do not press the measuring tips in too firmly the material.
• You can read the measured values on the scale, left for
Wood and right for masonry.
•The moisture of the building materials corresponds to that

• The graduation marks on the scale for wood moisture correspond to 1% each, the graduation
marks on the scale for building materials each correspond to 0.05%.
• The entire bar graph starts to flash, if so measuring moisture is outside the display range.
• Please put the protective cap back on after the measurement.
Attention: Please note that the measured values can be influenced by various factors such as
temperature and penetration depth of the measuring tips.
