Function and settings
WALK TEST: Before performing this test, set the TIME and LUX controls in the mode for walk test.
1.
When the detector detects a valid signal (e.g. from a person in motion) the load is activated, e.g. a
floodlight for a set period. You determine the detection range by walking slowly.
2.
SETTING OF LUX CONTROL: The LUX control has a built-in sensor (photocell) for detection of
daylight (sun symbol) and darkness (crescent). You set the sensitivity at the level required between
darkness and daylight in a clockwise direction. When you change this setting, the photocell needs
five seconds to stabilise.
SETTING THE DURATION (TIME): The time that the load (the floodlight) is to be activated/lit can
3.
be set between 10 ± 5 seconds and 10 ± 3 minutes. Increase the time by turning the TIME control
anti-clockwise, i.e. from minus (-) to plus (+).
NOTE: When the detector has been triggered, each additional trigger within the set duration time means
the time count starts again.
