IRoNINg TIPS

• For the best results ensure the temperature control is set at near MAX
and the water tank is at least ¼ full.
• In areas of very hard water, use distilled water to fill the water tank.
• Pre-heat the iron for 5-10 minutes before ironing for better results.
• To ensure the iron reach the set temperature, wait until the heat up
lamp comes on again and then goes off before ironing.
• To maintain constant temperature and steam when using te burst of
steam button, allow 2-3 seconds between each shot of steam.
• If water leaks from the soleplate, allow the iron to heat up for 30-60
seconds before continuing ironing.
• Never iron over sharp objects. Such as buttons, studs and zippers, as
these will scratch the soleplate.
• Always keep the iron in motion while ironing.
• Always follow the garment's ironing instructions for the correct ironing
temperature. Use of a wrong temperature may damage the fabric. Start
with low temperature in the absence of an instruction label.
• If garment consists of mixed fabrics, always try with lower temperature
setting.
• Velvet and other fabrics which need shiny sheen should be ironed in
one direction with light pressure.
• Iron on the reverse side of polyester fabrics and silk to prevent shiny
patches.
• If the water tank runs dry, press the burst of steam button several times
after filling to pump the steam.
