2. BEFORE FIRST USE

First boil a full kettle of water to clean the kettle. Throw this water away.

3. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

3.1 Making tea

The kettle should only be used for boiling water or tea. Never fill it with other liquids or ingredients other
than water.
To fill the kettle, remove it from the power base and remove the large filter. Fig. 1 and 2.
Fill the kettle with water to the maximum fill line. Fig. 3.
Turn the lid until the arrow is pointing to the black dot to lift out the small filter. Put the tea leafs or bags
in the bottom of the filter. Fig. 4,5 and 6.
Place the small filter in the large filter. Then turn the lid counter clockwise until the basket is raised. The
small fitler must be in high position for brewing. Fig. 7 and 8.
Now that the small filter is in place, place the large filter onto the carafe in such a way as the two parts
(large filter and carafe) fit together and turn until the 2 red spots are aligned. Fig. 9 and 10.
Place the carafe onto the base. Plug the unit in. Fig. 11.
Press the Start/Stop button to turn the kettle on. Fig. 12.
Press Select and choose the temperature you wish: 176°F - 194°F - 203°F - 212°F. The LED will light
up. Fig. 13.
