Commissioning
System parts (see figures, page 16)
A: x-net heat-cutter connect is designed for continuous
operation with its integrated fan.
B: x-net cutter carriage with x-net Omega cutting blade
C: x-net double cutting blades with two x-net Omega
cutting blades to cut two pipe layout ducts in one work
step
4
Make sure that the x-net heat-cutter connect plug is not
in the socket.
W
Undo the four clamping screws found on the head of
the device using the enclosed hex socket key.
W
Insert the x-net cutter carriage or x-net double cutter
carriage under the rectangular pressure plates until it
reaches the end stop.
W
Retighten the clamping screws hand-tight again using
an Allen key.
Check the connection voltage on the name-
W
plate before inserting the plug into the socket.
Press the black switch on the housing to switch the device
on, and release it to switch it off. The x-net Omega cutting
blade will reach operating temperature after a heating pe-
riod of max. 5 seconds.
On the top of the x-net heat cutter connect you will find a
temperature control unit which can be adjusted in 16 steps
in accordance with the notches on the rotary knob.
If smoke appears while cutting, then the cut is being made
too slowly or the blade is too hot which can lead to an
oversized and uneven pipe duct. By reducing the tempe-
rature and occasionally releasing the black switch while
cutting, smoke formation is minimised and the cut is clean.
As soon as the cutting resistance increases, press the black
switch again.
230 V, 50 Hz
IF the black switch is released approx. 3 – 5 cm away from
max. 330 W
the end of the cut, then the x-net Omega cutting blade still
max. 5 seconds
has sufficient residual heat to finish the cut and remains

on the hot x-net Omega cutting blades and this could cau-

se them to overheat and become deformed.
