5. Function
The enclosures certified for hazardous areas in protection mode Ex e are robust materials designed to
meet the highest requirements for use especially in the oil and gas, chemical, pharmaceutical and food.
The increased safety enclosures DE1WH or DE1GW are available in many sizes, in painted steel or
stainless steel AISI 316L. They are valuable for control, monitoring, automation, distribution board, or any
other applications. They are suitable for the design of complex systems.
These enclosures are designed to receive:
Internally, electrical components certified for explosive atmospheres.
On the surface, components such as pushbuttons, switches, pilot lights that have be certified.
