OPERATING THE TOOL
1
STAPLE LOADING
ƒ Keep stapler pointed downward.
1
ƒ Pull the staple feeder backward until it latches.
ƒ Place the staple strip onto the rail of the magazine.
2
Make sure that the staple strip slides freely on the
magazine.
ƒ Do not load with safety or trigger depressed.
3
ƒ Release the feeder from the latch and gently allow it to
move forward.
ƒ The stapler is now ready to operate.
2
CAUTION:
ƒ A staple can be driven unintentionally if the trigger and
safety bracket are activated at the same time. Always
disconnect the stapler from the air supply prior to
loading staples, making any adjustments, or performing
any service on the stapler. Remember to keep finger off
the trigger until you are ready to drive a fastener.
ƒ Be sure to bring back the staple feeder, avoiding any
impact.
ƒ Never connect stapler to pressure that potentially
3
exceeds 110psi.
ƒ Never use non-relieving coupler on stapler.
ƒ Never use oxygen or other bottled gases, as an
explosion may occur.

ADJUSTING THE DEPTH

ƒ Always disconnect air supply before changing the
adjustment dial.
ƒ The depth of drive adjustment is made by adjusting the
work contacting element. The screw is loosened to allow
the element to be moved up or down.
ƒ You will need a 4mm hex socket wrench to make this
adjustment.
ƒ Take off hex bar wrench set in the magazine cover.
ƒ If the tool is overdriving ﹙the fastener head is driven
below the work surface﹚, the work contacting element
should be moved downward. If the fasteners stand up
﹙the head or crown is not flush with the work surface﹚,
the work contacting element should be moved up.
ƒ Adjust the work contacting arm until the fastener head
or crown depth meets job requirements.
