Care and Maintenance of Your Combination System
To ensure your Kinetico combination system continues to operate at peak
performance, follow the procedures outlined in the "Maintaining Your System"
section of this owner' s manual.
The concentration of chlorine/chloramine in a water supply will determine the
life of the carbon/Chloraban in combination systems. You will have to replace
the carbon/Chloraban in your system when you begin to notice the return
of a chlorine/chloramine odor in your water. Expect to replace the carbon/
Chloraban every few years as a general rule, although it may last longer if your
water supply does not contain high levels of chlorine/chloramine.
Because Kinetico' s filtration media is automatically cleaned
during regeneration, it requires no additional maintenance.
