Charging mode NiMH-NiCd batteries
WARNING: carefully check the
delta-peak value - fire hazard!

In the middle of the display the number of cells the
charger detects is shown. If the number is correct
and suits with your settings, press the START
button. Otherwise correct with CELLS.
Delta-Peak: set the delta-peak
mV per cell) for automatic charge termination. If
the delta-peak is set higher, there is the danger of
overheating the battery, if it is set lower, the
battery may not fully charged. A good starting
point is 7 mV for NiMH and 12 mV for
NiCd-batteries.
Start the charging process by pressing Enter for
more than 2 seconds.
After connecting the battery and press START
once, the charger is checking the battery and
displays OK.
To start the charging process press START, to
stop and check the settings again press BACK.
Discharge Menu DCHG
The adjustable current ranges from 0.1 - 5.0 A and
the end-of-discharge voltage from 0.1 - 24.0 V.
Check the end-of-discharge voltage carefully:
NiMH 1.0 V/cell and NiCd 0.85 V/cell.
Start the discharging process by pressing Enter
for more than 2 seconds.
Cycle mode
the charger may perform 1-5 cycles of DCHG >
CHG or CHG > DCHG continually.
C > D2T means two times a cycle charge and
discharge.
NOTE: the battery may become warm during the
cycling. The program inserts a time delay function
to allow the battery to cool down during the
cycles. The value ranges from 1 - 60 minutes, we
recommend min. 10 minutes delay.
This display shows the voltage curve for
charging or discharging.
Press
to go back to the charge menu.
