• Regularly inspect all components to detect any
problem requiring maintenance and service.
Replace damaged parts immediately.
• Do not exceed oil temperature above 60˚C.
• Keep all hydraulic components clean.
• Periodically check the hydraulic system for loose
connections and leaks.
• Change hydraulic oil in your system as
recommended in the pump instruction sheet.
7.1 TROUBLE SHOOTING

• Periodically check the press frame to make sure
all bolts are tight and frame parts are undamaged.
Immediately replace worn or damaged parts by
genuine Enerpac parts.
7.0 TROUBLESHOOTING
The trouble-shooting table is intended to be used as
an aid in determining if a problem exists.
SOLUTION
A. Add oil to pump
B. Close pump release valve
C. Check that all couplers are fully tightened
D. Remove air according §5.2
E. Check for damage to cylinder. Have
cylinder serviced by a qualified hydraulic
technician
A. Check that all connections are tightened
B. Locate leak(s) and have equipment
serviced by a qualified hydraulic technician
C. Have pump serviced by a qualified
hydraulic technician
A. Open pump release valve
B. Drain oil level to full mark
C. Check that coupler(s) are fully tightened
D. Remove air according §5.2
E. Have cylinder serviced by a qualified
hydraulic technician
F. Remove tooling. Check cylinder for
damage
